This is an all volunteer team and volunteer league.  A lot of work goes into practices, meets, running the program/league and we need some help to make it a success. We have been lucky enough to have high parent engagement and have found the work bond unnecessary. If you cannot meet an obligation, please try to find another parent to take your spot and alert one of the coaches... Sign-up coming later this month.

• Practice course spotters and sweepers.  For the first month of practice we need parents with the ability to run behind or with the kids during practice and ensure everyone makes it to the finish.   Just come in your running clothes.

• Uniform Handout: (2 spots)  Two nights in late Aug/beginning of September, handout uniform shirts, swap sizes as available, check receipt; also handout sweatshirt orders when arrive.

• Team photographer:  (1 spot - filled)

• Race Day Course Marshalls:  (3 spots)  Parsippany is assigned a zone during the race to direct children on the course, alert the race director when the last child has passed by, and radio for help if a child is injured.  We can break this position up into three 1 hour times slots or one person can volunteer for the whole meet. These positions must be filled by our team.  It’s a front row seat to watch the race!

• Race Bib Handout/Collection:  (16 spots, two per race)  Must be willing to arrive by 7:45am, pickup bib numbers and handout to children arriving for races until the last runners arrive.  We can also break this up into 2 time slots and someone can cover you while your child races!

• Tent Breakdown/Storage:  (16 spots, two per race)  Two parents needed each week to break down the tent, benches, table and store in shed.  Recommended for parents of 13-14 year olds who have the last race. 

• Awards Committee:  (6 spots)  Committee will book location for awards, order food, coordinate parent food, order and assemble awards 

• We may need volunteers for the postseason state meet if Lakeland hosts.
